How NUVI verifies providers

Draft. Counsel will finalize the wording before NUVI launches. The headings below are the shape it will take; the text under them is not legal wording yet. Words in [SQUARE BRACKETS] are values counsel or NUVI has still to fill in.

1. What "Verified" means

Verified means that NUVI completed specific document and registration checks before a provider was published.

NUVI lists two kinds of providers: medical providers such as clinics, hospitals, and dental clinics, and non-medical esthetics studios.

Before a provider appears on NUVI, our team checks the provider's business or institutional registration.

For medical providers, we also confirm the registration required for the institution to receive foreign patients under Korean law where that requirement applies.

We review the provider's self-description before publication and remove wording that makes exaggerated, definitive, or comparative claims.

Only providers that pass the checks that apply to them are published.

We plan to re-check published providers every [REVERIFICATION_CADENCE].

2. What "Verified" does not mean

Verification is an administrative and document check. It is not a medical recommendation, ranking, inspection of every service, or guarantee of clinical quality.

NUVI does not guarantee a result, safety, suitability, availability, or price.

Your medical or esthetics decisions remain between you and the provider.

NUVI does not publish customer ratings, rankings, treatment testimonials, or review scores. We also do not publish patient before/after photos. This is a deliberate policy to keep provider pages factual and to reduce the risk of misleading or inappropriate medical-advertising content.

3. Doctors and the "Board-certified" label

A provider's own statement is not enough for NUVI to add a "Board-certified · [specialty]" label.

NUVI staff add that label only after reviewing evidence of the relevant specialist qualification from a licence copy or an official professional/registration source used by NUVI.

The specialty shown is the specialty that NUVI confirmed.

If the underlying information changes or cannot be re-confirmed, the label may be removed until the qualification is confirmed again.

The English wording of the label is a service label used by NUVI. It does not create a qualification beyond the Korean specialist status that was actually confirmed.

4. Photos on provider pages

Provider-page photos are supplied or authorised by the provider.

NUVI's publication policy is to use photos of the premises, exterior, interior, facilities, reception areas, and staff.

NUVI does not publish patient photos or patient before/after photos on provider pages.

Provider photos may be resized or converted so they display correctly in the service.

5. How often we re-check

Our planned re-verification cycle is [REVERIFICATION_CADENCE].

We may also re-check a provider earlier if information changes, a registration expires, we receive a credible report, or we otherwise have reason to confirm the listing again.

A provider can be suspended or unpublished while a material issue is being checked.

6. Report a listing

If you believe a provider page contains outdated, incorrect, or misleading information, contact us at [CONTACT_EMAIL].

Please tell us which provider and which information you are concerned about. We will review the report and update, suspend, or re-check the listing where appropriate.
